Following are the required tests to perform for ensuring the quality of compressed air (used in pharmaceutical industry)

(a) dew point and pressure monitoring
(b) appearance and odour test
(c)solid particle count
(d) moisture content test
(e) hydrocarbon level ( oil test)
(f) gaseous impurities (carbon dioxide, carbon mono dioxide )
(g) microbial load monitoring
Equipment accessories required
Dew point instrument ,Calibrated pressure gauge ,flow meter,pressure gauge,calibrated particle counter,pressure regulator,gastec detector tubes ( for moisture content,hydrocarbon level,and gaseous impurities),sterile plates for microbial evaluation .
